Gas turbine engine or Combustion turbine engine , GTE in English, is a type of engine that is a heat engine.
A gas turbine is mainly composed of a compressor, a combustion chamber and a turbine.
After the fresh air enters the gas turbine from the inlet, it is first pressurized into high-pressure gas by the compressor.
Then the fuel injected from the fuel injector is mixed with air and burned in the combustion chamber to become high-temperature and high-pressure gas.
Then it enters the turbine section to drive the turbine, converting thermal energy into mechanical energy for output, and the final exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe.
Part of the mechanical energy output by the turbine is used to drive the compressor, and the other part is output through the transmission shaft.
It is used to drive the mechanisms we want to drive such as generators, transmission systems, etc.
